TAPAS POÉTICAS

An evening in which we combine the rich sounds of the Spanish language with gastronomy.

Four Spanish poets, as well as two Dutch-speaking poets, will bring poetry in their own language: Ángela Segovia (Spanish), Miren Agur Meabe (Basque), Mireia Calafell (Catalan), Alba Cid (Galician), Maya Wuytack, and Jonas Bruyneel (Dutch).

We will also provide a tailored tasting of tapas from these different regions. 

Included in the price: four tapas, a glass of Spanish wine, water, a placemat with poems from the four Spanish poets and illustrations created for this event.

The evening continues with “Mercedes máis eu” by choreographer Janet Novás and musician Mercedes Péon!
From their shared Galician roots arises a sizzling hybrid journey that blends biographical fragments, physical experiences, and socio-political themes with gripping rhythms and voices. Please note: a separate ticket is required for this performance.
