Maya Wuytack

Maya Wuytack (1987) is a poet, director, and performer with a strong focus on the physical and
sensory power of poetry. She combines poetry with theater, dance, and film to tell stories that
explore vulnerability and connection. Maya has traveled extensively through Latin America, giving her work an international and multilingual dimension. She speaks Spanish and is temporarily living in Spain, where she
is working on a new book. For her, poetry is about touching and being touched. Her work tours
internationally and has won several awards.
