Ideas festival Nacht van de Vrijdenker 2024 shrinks in space and stretches in time. We are flipping the tried and tested concept and filling the Theatre Hall with wise philosophers, pioneering scientists and young, refreshing opinion makers. Expect a marathon of debates, lectures and panel discussions on philosophy, social issues, science and critical thinking. Less space, equal mass! 

De Vooruit is undergoing renovations until December 2025. Several halls will be under lock and key for two years. The Nachtteam worked on a (temporary) new festival concept. One hall, a morning, afternoon and evening programme and seven sequentially scheduled programme sections. 

Do you wish to only pick your favourite programme? Do you want to mix and match two events of your choice? Or do you want to join the full marathon of seven programme sections? The choice is yours! No selection stress this year. What you pick, is what you see!
