Elly Van Eeghem

Elly Van Eeghem (°1983, Ghent) creates videos, photographs, interventions and installations in public space. She is often inspired by the design and functions of the city. Since 2012 she has been City Resident at Vooruit. She makes individual work but also often engages in collective projects with community residents, school children or like-minded creators. In 2017, for instance, she founded CAMPUS: a collective design studio for public space in the South of Ghent. In the 2018-2019 season she will present '(Dis)placed Interventions' in Vooruit, her first theater production. Van Eeghem is an artistic researcher and lecturer at KASK School of Arts Ghent.
