The duo solidified their position in Belgium with rave reviews from Rolling Stone and remarkable music videos. Performances on influential radio stations and ecstatic live shows across Europe followed. In 2022, they were invited to the Inspire Tokyo Festival, after which they released a special Japanese edition of the EP. Now, back in Belgium, they are preparing for their highly anticipated debut album, Nandakke?, to be released on February 23, 2024 on Eskimo Recordings. The album promises a unique blend of surreal electro-pop, joyous electronica and more, ranging from peculiar Japanese fashion to Aili's father's takoyaki recipe.
Movulango
Movulango's debut EP "Mirror in Man" is proof that you can't put a time limit on creativity. An extremely fresh five-song musical adventure of psychedelic folk jams, woozy electronica and looped-up beats, it is the culmination of a five-year process for Movulango, the alter ego of 25-year-old Belgian musician and producer Moses Mozes. During this five-year journey, Moses transformed from a producer who beats the dance floor (he was previously one half of Ego Troopers and Future Sound of Antwerp) to a kind of West Coast pop-art Balearic troubadour. Meanwhile, there's a second EP titled "The Irony," both released on DEEWEE.
"He's one of the people we worked with the longest before his music came out," says
David Dewaele (Sleeax / DEEWEE)
