The Sisters of Mercy was formed in Leeds in 1980 by Andrew Eldritch and Gary Marx. One of the first groups to work with drum computers, they pioneered new wave music through the post-punk movement. The band colored the 1980s with a series of brilliant classics that became true cult songs. 'Temple of Love,' 'Body and Soul,' 'Alice' and 'No Time To Cry' are just some of their brilliant repertoire. 

Although they haven't released a new album in a while, the band still delivers memorable concerts in sold-out venues to delirious audiences. Live, they play older and unreleased material, of course the many classics, but new songs are also regularly heard.
