Hypnotic mix of freejazz, afrobeat and krautpunk

Don Kapot's fourth album I Love Tempo is mixed and co-produced by Deerhoof's Greg Saunier. The Belgian band uses various instruments to create a complex and rhythmic sound, with crazy samples. The album will be released via WERF Records in September 2023. Dansende Beren describes Don Kapot's music as energetic and genre-defying, while Knack characterizes their songs as angular, hypnotic, and focused. The band consists of Giotis Damianidis (bass, guitar and effects), Viktor Perdieus (saxophone and miscellaneous instruments), and Jakob Warmenbol (drums, percussion and electronic samples). They have previously released their first LP in 2018, as well as two albums via WERF Records: Hooligan in 2021 and Un Peu Live in 2022, which Bandcamp highlighted for its fun mix of modern jazz and krautrock.
