French 79

French 79 a.k.a. Simon Henner is sometimes called the master of synths within the electronic music world. This multi-talented musician from Marseille with a love for analogue synths remodels the French Touch genre with each new track. 

Signature tracks like 'Between the Buttons', 'Diamond Veins' (ft. Sarah Rebecca) and 'Hometown' catapulted him to the top of Marseille's electro scene. His debut album Olympic (2016) and follow-up Joshua (2019) have since become icons within French electro music, and with his third album TEENAGERS, to be released in May, French 79 is ready to take his music to the next level again. The first two albums dealt with birth and childhood respectively, while the third record is logically dedicated to adolescence.

Besides solo project French 79, Simon Henner also collaborates on Husbands and Nasser and worked with Kid Francescoli whose hit 'Moon' he produced and co-wrote. 

With world-class shows and passages at festivals such as Dour and Sziget Festival, he has also built a solid live reputation.
