fabuleus zoekt acrobatische bewegers & muzikanten
For Michiel Vandevelde's production 'out of hands', fABULEUS is looking for young people aged between 13 and 23: both acrobatic movers and a completely new music band.
What?
In ancient myths, 'youth' often symbolises innocence, hope and immortality, but behind that ideal image there is also a dark side. In Out of Hands, young people give an insight into their 'underworld' of dark thoughts and fantasies. A live music band immerses you in a bath of electronic dark wave, gothic and metal, while five acrobatic movers depict both the beauty and the struggle of being young.
When.
The main rehearsal periods fall during:
* the weekend of 11 and 12 May 2024 (very first rehearsals)
* summer holidays: 5 - 16 August 2024
* Autumn holidays: 28 Oct - 1 Nov 2024
* Christmas holidays: 26-30 Dec 2024
* Crocus holidays: 3 - 7 Mar 2025
* Easter holidays: 7 - 20 Apr 2025
In between, there are a few more separate rehearsal days. The exact dates can all be found in the registration form.
out of hands will premiere in Leuven on 23 April 2025.
For whom?
Young people involved in acrobatics, breakdance, krumping, pole dancing, martial arts, parkour or other challenging forms of movement. They can register for the audition workshop in Brussels (Ultima Vez), Leuven (OPEK) or Ghent (Miramiro).

Musicians (guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, violin, vocals), who feel at home in metal music and would like to form a new band. They can sign up for the audition workshop in Leuven (Het Depot).
