Time for food transition: win-win for the climate and your health

In his new book Grondgenoten, Dirk Holemans shows how we can ensure a healthy food supply for everyone. Radically caring for eaters, farmers, and the living environment leads to a positive spiral full of resilience. With this much-needed food transition, we give both the climate and our health a boost. How do we approach this?

We will have a conversation with the author and guests Fairouz Gazdallah (Policy Advisor Oxfam Belgium), Arne Dambre (general practitioner at WGC Brugse Poort), and Elise Van Broeckhoven (farmer at Grondig). Journalist Tomas Vanheste will moderate. Additionally, Emma Tack (Aroma’s vzw) and Kyle Boland (Boland Ferments) will be sharing how they shape that much-needed food transition every day.

Between 17:00 and 19:00, you can visit our café for a number of information stands from local entrepreneurs who do things differently.
