"I am very upset about what is happening in Gaza. I watch in amazement as Israel has been committing one war crime after another every day for over a year now, while the world looks on (or looks away) and does nothing. The horror is live-streamed, I hardly dare open my Instagram. My father is South African, I visited South Africa as a child during apartheid, the inequality I saw then was traumatic. As for South Africa, I think there should be serious boycotts against Israel's apartheid regime. My partner Bei and I have already organized several benefit events for Gaza in Antwerp. Benefits like this are important, both to raise money and to come together and share our anger and grief." Joachim Badenhorst
