'Outrage' is a film by Ida Lupino from the 1950s that depicts the emotional and psychological aftermath of a rape in a surprisingly modern way. In doing so, 'Outrage' also touches on themes such as PTSD and psychological paralysis. After the screening, our programmer for artistic reflection Alice Bogaerts will moderate a discussion with Laryssa Kim, the performing musician, as well as someone who can frame the film's themes from the perspective of (clinical) psychology and/or neuroscience. She will engage in conversation with clinical psychologist and neuroscientist Ernst Koster.
