Verpoest is one of the people behind the Razor Reel festival in Bruges and is an enthusiastic film journalist with a great love for horror and B-films.

In this conversation, they reveal the unlikely links between Messiah of Evil and Howard the Duck, other 70s cult films that deal with the “death of the sixties” as their subject matter, and the influence of writer HP Lovecraft on horror cinema.
