From the basement to the attic, you've never seen De Vooruit like this! 

Have you always wanted to see what goes on behind the scenes at VIERNULVIER in De Vooruit? The extensive renovation of the front building, from August 2024 to December 2025, will disrupt the route of the regular historical tours. At the same time, it is a great opportunity to visit the rear building, located on the Muinkschelde canal dug in the Middle Ages, temporarily and exceptionally from basement to attic.

Although we want to make our programme accessible to everyone, these adapted tours are an exception to the rule due to the renovations. This tour is not wheelchair accessible unfortunately, as it brings you through narrow hallways and up and down steep(er) stairs.

This visit offers quite a few surprises. We are all familiar with the beautiful Theatre Hall, with its glass ceiling and murals. Or the Concert Hall, where the spirits of Nirvana, Arno and the “niños de la Guerra” still linger. But it is mainly the winding and staircase-filled route through parts of the building that are normally closed to the public that offers a new perspective on the labyrinth of De Vooruit.
