Jeroen realises better than anyone that he is part of a generation with one foot in the past and the other in the future. A past in which everything was clear but no one was truly free. In which the privilege of one was paid for with the discomfort of another.

No matter how fiercely his fellow dinosaurs resist their own extinction, these are at most the last convulsions of a doomed existence. On the horizon, a new, multipolar world is already announcing itself, one in which there are no superpowers, in which identity is a highly personal matter, and in which animals are also persons.

Unlike before, changes are following each other at a rapid pace. Sitting out your time with your old way of life is becoming less and less of an option. Get on board and grab the last tickets, because those who don't will fall hopelessly behind.
