About Ciel
If ever there was an artist who best espoused the mantra of "think global, act local," Cindy Li, best known to the world as Ciel, would be it. Ciel's star has risen within the electronic music scene precisely because she embodies this duality. Her technical finesse and omnivorous tastes as a DJ at the fringe of cutting-edge club culture has been shown off in some of the world's best venues. Simultaneously, her reputation has been bolstered by a single-minded resolve to bettering her adopted home of Toronto. Add an armful of popular, sparky dancefloor hits as a producer, and this triple threat has made Ciel one of the most hotly-tipped and, crucially, deeply respected breakouts of recent years.
About Xiaolin
Producer and vinyl collector crafting a sonic world of dreamlike nostalgia. Laden with acid lines and earthy percussion, her evolving style is warm, romantic and adventurous, ranging from acid/progressive house & electro to UK breaks and early trance.
Originally taking harmonic inspiration from her classical roots mainly of the impressionistic period, Xiaolin found early comfort in Japanese music from the 80’s YMO era and West coast R&B, later falling in love with acid house, new beat and Detroit electro as well as warmer breaks from the UK bass scene. Having experienced a breadth of genres from studying Arabic makams and gypsy jazz to playing in a Batucada band, Xiaolin's ethereal-yet-punchy sound infuses dreamy electro ambience with warm earthy percussion, Prophet-driven bass lines and Juno-60 pads, evoking feelings of balearic beat, early trance and acid house euphoria.
As a DJ, Xiaolin is sensitive to the dancefloor and crafts a patient house-to-techno journey, digging deep in time through complex emotions with dynamic trancey groovers with tribal elements and gritty acid electro, while her live electronic ambient sets reveal the more calm and contemplative side of her natural musicality. Unbound by genre, Xiaolin's romantically adventurous spirit and theatrical flair shines through in all her DJ sets, live sets and productions.
About Yeye
Yeye is a Chinese-Italian selector and radio host based in Brussels, known for weaving together sounds that reflect her multicultural roots with an intuitive and deeply personal touch. Her sets move through hypnotic grooves, acid textures and dreamy atmospheres, creating a captivating flow that keeps the crowd gently swaying or fully bouncing on the dance floor.
As the mind behind Slow Ye Down on Kiosk Radio, she often explores a more introspective “yin” side, slow, immersive and cocooning. For this special occasion, however, Yeye leans into her “yang” energy, delivering a more playful, dynamic and high-spirited journey. Expect joyful momentum, emotional depth and a radiant sonic narrative designed to open the space with warmth and movement.
