In this generous reading and tasting room, Samah Hijawi and Erika Sprey open up their research on the deep interrelatedness between plants, planets, herbs and dreams. Guests are invited to communally consume, read, discuss and digest a lush banquet of moon grown herbs, vernacular embroideries, astral foods and cosmopolitical texts. Both food and text will be presented in a ‘tableau pensant’ with bite-size ‘foods for thought’’ and conversation starters, varying in form, length and presentation depending on the topic that is served.
