Volunteering VIERNULVIER
VIERNULVIER has a long tradition when it comes to working with volunteers.
In 1982, some young people founded the non-profit organization Socio-Cultural Center Vooruit, with the aim of creating a progressive artistic meeting center. Volunteers, including both young people and older visitors of the Party Room, played a crucial role in the major cleanup operations before restoration could begin.
WHAT?
VIERNULVIER offers volunteer work with a diverse range of tasks within almost all expertise teams. Various forms of involvement are possible, both in front of and behind the scenes. Volunteers support artist catering, reception, ticketing, audience reception, flyering, and much more.
WHY?
Focusing on volunteers helps to further establish VIERNULVIER as an open and accessible venue. "Nothing for everyone, something for everybody!"
Especially during performances and concerts, there are last-minute tasks that permanent staff cannot fill. In other words, volunteers contribute significantly to the realisation of the programme.
WHO?
VIERNULVIER is a place where volunteers of all ages, diverse genders, various cultural backgrounds or nationalities, and people with disabilities tirelessly contribute. Without this fantastic team of volunteers, VIERNULVIER would not be VIERNULVIER.

Currently, we already have an extensive team of volunteers who are enthusiastically committed to VIERNULVIER. Therefore, we have decided to not recruit new volunteers at this time.
