Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER vzw (hereinafter ‘VIERNULVIER’) respects your privacy and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a set of European rules to protect citizens with regard to the use of personal data.
In the text below we explain how VIERNULVIER processes and uses your personal data in order to optimise your visit to VIERNULVIER.

The contents of this site, including brands, logos, drawings, data, product or company names, texts, images, etc. are protected by intellectual rights and rightfully belong to VIERNULVIER or third parties.

VIERNULVIER makes every effort to ensure that the information on www.viernulvier.gent is complete, accurate, precise and up-to-date. Despite these efforts, inaccuracies may occur. VIERNULVIER cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the information on this site.
The website may contain hyperlinks to websites or pages of third parties, or refer to them indirectly. Linking to these websites or pages does not in any way imply implicit approval of their content.

We use performance cookies to collect anonymous data about the use of this website. This anonymised data includes the number of visitors, the time they spend on a given web page, the error messages they receive and how they arrive at our site. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. Statistics are generated based on the collected information. These statistics give us a crucial insight into the use of the website and enable us to make the site’s structure, navigation and content as user-friendly as possible for you. The statistics and other reports are always anonymous and are never traced back to individuals.
Advertising cookie
With the Facebook Conversion Pixel we register users’ buying behaviour after viewing an ad on Facebook / Instagram. This cookie allows us to track and customise our Facebook and Instagram ads. We do not store this info in any way; it is only to the user's Facebook profile.
It is possible to configure your browser such that it warns you each time new cookies are created or prevents their creation. However, you should bear in mind that if you refuse to allow cookies, you might not be able to use a number of features on the site.
4. SOCIAL MEDIA
VIERNULVIER also communicates about its events and general news on social media. We usually respond to comments or messages addressed to us. You may also encounter VIERNULVIER advertisements on social media.
5. PERSONAL DATA: COLLECTION / PROCESSING
VIERNULVIER respects the privacy of visitors to its site and therefore wants to do its best to inform you as clearly as possible about the way we collect and use your personal data. We have drawn up a privacy policy in which you can find all the necessary information. We advise you to read this policy thoroughly before you provide us with any information about yourself. 5.1. Collection via ticket purchase (lawful basis: contractual)
Ticket sales at VIERNULVIER are transacted via the Ticketmatic ticketing system (www.ticketmatic.be), unless otherwise indicated at the performance itself.
Ticketmatic complies with the rules set out in the GDPR and will under no circumstances use your data. They only have access to our sales dashboard to ensure a smooth operation of the system.
When purchasing a ticket (online, by phone or at the Ticket Desk) some personal data is requested (name, postal address, telephone number, email address, birth date). This data is stored in the CRM of the ticketing system and may be used in the provision of our services, such as:
● Issuing your (e-)ticket
● Ticket check at the door
● Pre- and post-event emails regarding the show
● Messages relating to changes / cancellations of the show you have booked for
● Later messages relating to similar shows (occasional / both via email and post)
● Processing customer details / data analysis / determining tariffs
Your details are stored for up to five years after your last ticket purchase.
5.2. Collection after receiving your explicit permission / marketing (lawful basis: permission)
You have the option to explicitly sign up for our digital newsletters or printed promotional materials directly via the website, while buying a ticket (on- or offline) or by emailing info@viernulvier.gent. By signing up in this way you give us explicit permission to keep you informed via the channel of your choice. If you sign up via the website, your personal data will be safely passed on to Campaign Monitor. If you sign up when purchasing a ticket, your personal data will be securely transferred to Ticketmatic and Campaign Monitor. Your email and newsletter preferences are securely stored at Campaign Monitor. You can unsubscribe or change your registration details at any time.
Your data will be stored for up to five years after the last action you took in relation to an email from us.
5.3. Communication (lawful basis: legitimate interest)
When you send us an email or postal letter (e.g. when participating in a contest), it is possible that we will keep those messages. Sometimes we will ask you for your personal information relevant to the situation in question. This enables us to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on secure servers. We will not combine this with other personal data that may be in our possession.
Occasionally we send emails or postal letters promoting shows that are directly related to a customer’s recent visit (e.g. sending the guide for the new season to subscribers and customers of the two previous seasons).
Your data will be kept for up to five years after the last purchase of a ticket in your name.
5.4. Images/footage of visitors
The VIERNULVIER building is constantly videoed for security purposes.
During events organised by VIERNULVIER, a photographer is often present to document the atmosphere. These photos may be published on our website, on social media and in our printed promotional materials. The photos usually depict the artists and the event’s audience. Occasionally, as a spectator, you may be recognisable in one of the photos. All photos are stored on VIERNULVIER's secure server.
Some events in VIERNULVIER are recorded. The footage is broadcast live on social media and made available later on social media and/or used as part of a promotional video that is edited afterwards. It may happen that the audience is recognised in this footage, although there is no focus on faces.

5.5. Third parties
As well as selling tickets for its own programme, VIERNULVIER also provides tickets for the Minardschouwburg and for rental partners (e.g. Democrazy, Curieus, Nasty Mondays, etc). Occasionally, there are also shared ticket sales with cultural partners in Ghent (e.g. De Bijloke, Ghent Festival, Film Festival, NTGent).
Minardschouwburg
VIERNULVIER acts as an external box office for Minard. The VIERNULVIER Ticket Desk only has access to the customer details that are registered when purchasing a ticket. These customer details are only used for necessary services, such as sending tickets by post, issuing refunds, following up on orders or informing customers of changes. All information about Minard’s privacy policy can be found at www.minard.be.
Rental partners / shared ticket sales:
VIERNULVIER may share with an event organiser the personal details provided by the customer when purchasing tickets for the event in question.
This may be in order to maintain the smooth operation of the Ticket Desk, to manage the administration of (shared) ticket sales or to keep you informed of a similar performance in the future (legal basis: justified interest).
Upon receipt of the personal data, the organiser undertakes to respect the GDPR regulations.
6. WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
As a user, you also have a number of rights relating to your personal data. If you would like to invoke any of these rights, please contact directly by sending an email to privacy@viernulvier.gent. We will comply with your request as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest.
Right of access and rectification: you have the right to access all personal data that we collect from you. Any incorrect or incomplete data can be changed or deleted.
Right to be forgotten (right of erasure): a visitor always has the right to have their data removed from our databases, unless these data are necessary for the execution of a contract or the observance of a legal obligation.
7. CHANGES TO THE USER AGREEMENT
VIERNULVIER reserves the right to change this user agreement at any time. The amended user agreement will be announced on VIERNULVIER's website and will automatically take effect thirty days after its initial publication on the site.

De inhoud van deze site, met inbegrip van de merken, logo’s, tekeningen, data, product- of bedrijfsnamen, teksten, beelden e.d. zijn beschermd door intellectuele rechten en behoren toe aan Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER vzw of rechthoudende derden.
2. BEPERKING VAN AANSPRAKELIJKHEID
Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER vzw levert inspanningen zodat de informatie op www.viernulvier.gent volledig, juist, nauwkeurig en up-to-date is. Ondanks deze inspanningen kunnen onjuistheden zich voordoen. Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor rechtstreekse of onrechtstreekse schade die ontstaat uit het gebruik van de informatie op deze site.

Advertising cookies
Met de Facebook Conversion Pixel registreren we het aankoopgedrag na het bekijken van een advertentie op Facebook/Instagram. Deze cookie zorgt ervoor dat we onze Facebook en Instagram advertenties kunnen opvolgen en aanpassen. Deze informatie wordt op geen enkele wijze bij ons bewaard, enkel toegevoegd aan het Facebookprofiel van de gebruiker.
Je hebt de mogelijkheid je browser zo te configureren dat hij je waarschuwt telkens er nieuwe cookies worden aangemaakt, of dat hij de aanmaak ervan verhindert. Je moet er wel rekening mee houden dat, als je weigert om cookies toe te staan, het mogelijk is dat je van een aantal zaken op de site geen gebruik zal kunnen maken.
4. SOCIAL MEDIA
VIERNULVIER communiceert evenementen en nieuws van Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER in het algemeen ook op social media. We antwoorden meestal op comments of berichten die gericht zijn aan Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER. Je kan op social media ook advertenties van VIERNULVIER tegenkomen.
5. PERSOONSGEGEVENS: VERZAMELEN / VERWERKING
VIERNULVIER respecteert de privacy van de bezoekers van haar site en wil er dan ook alles aan doen om je op een zo duidelijk mogelijke manier te informeren over de manier waarop wij je persoonsgegevens verzamelen en gebruiken. Daarom hebben we een privacy policy opgesteld waarin je alle nodige informatie kan vinden. We raden je dan ook aan deze policy grondig door te nemen alvorens je ons informatie over jezelf verschaft. 5.1. Registratie via ticketaankoop (wettelijk: contractuele basis)
De ticketverkoop van Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER verloopt via het ticketingsysteem Ticketmatic. (www.ticketmatic.be). (tenzij anders aangegeven bij de voorstelling zelf)
TicketMatic houdt zich aan de regels zoals beschreven in de GDPR en maakt in geen geval gebruik van uw gegevens. Zij hebben enkel toegang tot ons verkoopdashboard om een vlotte werking van het systeem te garanderen.
Bij de aankoop van een ticket (online, telefonisch of via de balie) worden enkele persoonsgegevens gevraagd (naam, adres, telefoonnummer, e-mailadres, geboortedatum). Deze gegevens worden bewaard in de CRM van het ticketingsysteem en (kunnen) worden gebruikt om onze diensten te kunnen verstrekken:
- Afleveren van een (e-)ticket
- Toegangscontrole
- Pre- en post-mailings (servicemails) over de voorstelling
- Berichten over wijzigingen / annulaties van de gekochte voorstelling
- Later berichten over gelijkaardige voorstellingen (occasioneel / zowel via e-mail als per post)
- Verwerking van klantgegevens / data-analyse / bepalen van tarieven
- Uw gegevens worden bewaard tot 5 jaar na uw laatste ticketaankoop.
5.2. Registratie door uw expliciete toestemming / marketing (wettelijk: toestemming)
Via de website, tijdens het aankopen van een ticket (on- of offline) of via info@viernulvier.gent kan je je expliciet inschrijven om onze nieuwsbrieven of drukwerk te ontvangen. Door je te registreren, geef je ons de expliciete toestemming om je op de hoogte te houden via het door jou gekozen kanaal. Als je je via de website inschrijft worden je persoonsgegevens veilig doorgegeven aan Peppered, als je je inschrijft bij de aankoop van een ticket worden je persoonsgegevens veilig doorgegeven aan Ticketmatic en Peppered. Je e-mailadres en nieuwsbriefvoorkeuren worden veilig opgeslagen bij Peppered. Je kan je ten allen tijde weer uitschrijven of je registratie wijzigen.
Je gegevens worden bewaard tot 5 jaar na de laatste actie die je ondernam bij een mailing.
5.3. Communicatie (wettelijk: gerechtvaardigd belang)
Wanneer je een e-mail of post naar ons verzendt (eg. deelname aan een wedstrijd), is het mogelijk dat we die berichten bewaren. Soms vragen wij jou naar je persoonlijke gegevens die voor de desbetreffende situatie relevant zijn. Dit maakt het mogelijk jouw vragen te verwerken en jouw verzoeken te beantwoorden. De gegevens worden opgeslagen op beveiligde servers. Wij zullen deze gegevens niet combineren met andere persoonlijke gegevens waarover wij beschikken.
Occasioneel versturen we e-mails of postmailings met een aanbod voor voorstellingen die direct aansluiten bij een recent bezoek van onze klanten (eg. jaarlijkse seizoensbrochure die gestuurd wordt naar de abonnees en grote klanten van de 2 voorgaande seizoenen).
Je gegevens worden bewaard tot 5 jaar na de laatste ticketaankoop.
5.4. Publieksbeelden
Het gebouw van De VIERNULVIER wordt permanent gefilmd om de veiligheid te garanderen.
Tijdens evenementen georganiseerd door VIERNULVIER is geregeld een sfeerfotograaf aanwezig. Deze foto’s kunnen gepubliceerd worden op onze website, via social media en in ons drukwerk. Dit gaat vooral om beelden van de artiesten en sfeerfoto’s van het publiek. Sporadisch kan je als toeschouwer wel herkenbaar zijn op een van de foto’s. Alle foto’s worden bewaard op de beveiligde server van VIERNULVIER.
Enkele evenementen in De VIERNULVIER worden gefilmd. Deze beelden worden live uitgezonden via sociale media en achteraf beschikbaar gesteld op sociale media of er wordt achteraf een promotiefilmpje van gemonteerd. Het kan gebeuren dat publiek hier op herkend wordt, hoewel er niet gefocust wordt op gezichten.
Indien je herkenbaar bent op onze foto's / beelden en dat liever niet wil kan je ons altijd contacteren op privacy@viernulvier.gent.
5.5. Derden
Naast de ticketing voor de eigen programmatie, verzorgt Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER ook de ticketing voor de Minardschouwburg en voor verhuurpartners (derden; eg. Democrazy, Curieus, Nasty Mondays, … ). Occasioneel is er ook gedeelde ticketverkoop met Gentse culturele partners (eg. De Bijloke, Gent Festival, Filmfestival, NTGent).
- Minardschouwburg: Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER treedt op als externe ticketbalie voor de ticketverkoop van Minard. Hierbij heeft de ticketbalie van Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER enkel inzage in de klantgegevens die bij aankoop van een ticket geregistreerd worden. Deze klantgegevens worden enkel gebruikt voor noodzakelijke dienstverlening, zoals het opsturen van tickets, terugbetalingen, het opvolgen van bestellingen of om klanten op de hoogte te brengen van wijzigingen. - Verhuurpartners / gedeelde ticketverkoop: Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER kan de persoonsgegevens die verstrekt zijn bij de ticketaankoop voor een voorstelling/event van organisator x delen met diezelfde organisator x. Dit kan om het verloop van een avondkassa in goede banen te leiden, voor een administratieve afhandeling van de (gedeelde) ticketverkoop of om je op de hoogte te bregen van aanbod dat betrekking heeft op de voorstelling. (wettelijk: gerechtvaardigd belang). Bij ontvangst van de persoonsgegevens verbindt de verhuur- of ticketpartner er zich toe u de GDPR-regelgeving te respecteren.
6. WELKE RECHTEN HEB JE?
Als gebruiker heb je ook een aantal rechten die betrekking hebben op jouw persoonsgegevens. Als je een van die rechten wil inroepen, dan kan je je best rechtstreeks tot VIERNULVIER richten door een e-mail te sturen naar privacy@viernulvier.gent. Wij geven hier zo spoedig mogelijk gevolg aan en uiterlijk binnen de 30 dagen.
Recht op inzage en rechtzetting/rectificatie: je beschikt over het recht om alle persoonlijke gegevens die we van jou verzamelen in te kijken. Eventueel onjuiste of onvolledige gegevens kan je laten wijzigen of verwijderen.
Recht om te worden vergeten (wissingsrecht): een bezoeker heeft altijd het recht om zijn gegevens te laten verwijderen uit onze databanken tenzij deze gegevens nodig zijn voor de uitvoering van een contract of het naleven van een wettelijke verplichting
7. WIJZIGINGEN AAN DE GEBRUIKERSOVEREENKOMST
VIERNULVIER behoudt zich het recht voor op elk ogenblik deze gebruikersovereenkomst te wijzigen. De gewijzigde gebruikersovereenkomst zal bekend gemaakt worden op de site van VIERNULVIER en zal automatisch van kracht worden dertig dagen na de initiële bekendmaking op de site.
