A photostudio on the move capturing the pleasures of transformation.
The liberation to step out of our wellknown identityframe, and experience the adrenalin of the stagelight. A playful gift from the artist to the viewer.
Inspired by Moni Wespi’s WILD costume collection, participants dress up — or down — and enter the FOREST installation, where Lucia Gerhardt leads a spontaneous photo session. Each encounter results in a unique artistic trace created for the participant. 'Step in Set' is as a temporary, participatory installation that invites unexpected encounters and playful self-reinvention. Individuals, groups, families, and spontaneous pairings are welcome!
Approx. 15 minutes per group/person.
Moni Wespi (Swiss/Belgian visual artist, choreographer, designer) works beyond traditional theatre and exhibition formats. For Wespi, the stage is everywhere. By reversing the spotlight, her practice questions authorship and spectatorship, positioning the audience as co-creators within an evolving artistic process.
