'Unsuitable' is a durational, participatory performance in which the act of disassembling a suit becomes a collective exercise in questioning the codes that organise social life. What is usually worn to embody authority, respectability and public legitimacy is patiently taken apart, stitch by stitch, shifting between what has traditionally been framed as masculine and public, and what is relegated to the private, the intimate, the unseen.
Dismantling the suit is not an act of destruction but of exposure. By carefully undoing its structure and redistributing its material, the performance reveals how norms, roles and expectations are built into everyday objects and behaviours. Through collective attention and reuse, 'Unsuitable' proposes a slow unlearning of inherited frameworks, opening space for other forms of presence, care and coexistence beyond the rigid architectures that continue to shape our lives.
