Final image – Moments Before the Wind (2020)

Moments Before the Wind is a performance without performers, created specifically for the Theatre Hall of De Vooruit. A historical stage set enters into dialogue with the space itself, a replica of a classical 18th-century backdrop, and the voice of writer Jorge Luis Borges. Originally created in 2020, the work returns especially for the reopening of the front building. During Open House on 8 February, an installation residue of the piece can be viewed from the middle balcony of the Theatre Hall.
