Jesse Vandamme

Jesse Vandamme (1996) is a director, writer, creator, and sound artist. He studied Performance at the Theater Academy in Maastricht and Drama at the KASK in Ghent. In 2023, Werktoneel, under Vandamme's direction at NTGent, created 'Gruis / Aan de twijfel', a performance based on the works of the Dutch literary giant Willem Frederik Hermans. The performance was chosen by De Standaard as the best of 2023 and was part of the selection for the Theater Festival in 2024. Vandamme is currently working on an album, various solos, a group performance, and artistic work in public space.
