HYM is a Brussels-based vocal ensemble that breathes new life into the power of folk music. Six women, rooted in the capital, perform a compelling repertoire of protest songs, work songs, and folk music, spanning from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Their harmonious voices weave together with rhythmic percussion, translating ancient stories into an intense, contemporary experience. Do not expect traditional choral sounds; HYM brings raw, honest music that resonates with the spirit of our times.
