As part of '100 Years of Vooruit', Canvas broadcast a three-part documentary in 2013 about the history of the Ghent building that has since become an arts centre. The production company De Raconteurs interwove archival footage with contemporary images, alongside testimonies from socialists who witnessed the events firsthand.
The first episode outlines the history of the building and the socialist movement up to the Second World War. Episode two recounts the period of growth and subsequent decline, leading to the depillarisation of the early 1980s. The final instalment concludes with a portrait of the arts centre as it existed in 2013.
