VIERNULVIER zoekt een enthousiaste projectcoördinator muziek om het team te versterken.  

Arts Center VIERNULVIER receives 350,000 visitors annually for various events including theater, concerts, spoken word, talks, performances, dance, nightlife, and literature. The VIERNULVIER Café, located in De Vooruit, serves as a central meeting place. We act as a welcoming gathering spot and a laboratory for artistic development, production, presentation, participation, and reflection. VIERNULVIER operates the four stages in De Vooruit, programs at various locations, and together with Democrazy, is also the programmer and operator of the brand new Club Wintercircus. 

VIERNULVIER is looking for an enthusiastic music project coordinator to strengthen the team. 

Position

As a music project coordinator, you will oversee music productions from the broad program of VIERNULVIER. You will be part of the programming and production team and help ensure smooth team collaboration and the broader production operations of VIERNULVIER.

What will you do? 

  • You will coordinate and oversee music creations and music activities production-wise, from (immersive) concerts and performances to nightlife events and festivals of Viernulvier in De Vooruit and Club Wintercircus.
  • You will lead the coordination and production follow-up of music activities organized by venue rentals and network partners in De Vooruit.
  • You will maintain an overview of each production process: you will follow up on quotes and contracts, manage budgets, prepare clear briefings, and ensure accurate administrative follow-up.
  • You will align the planning and execution (workload, timings, budget, etc.) with the entire program of
  • Viernulvier in close consultation with the programming and production team. 
  • You will be present at VIERNULVIER events. 

Who are you? 

  • You have demonstrable experience (between 2 and 5 years) in coordinating and overseeing music creations and music events. Thanks to this experience, you navigate smoothly in a dynamic and sometimes changing context and enjoy working in both De Vooruit and Club Wintercircus.
  • You feel at home in the music and nightlife scene and have a strong affinity with artists, creators, and audiences.
  • You work hands-on and flexibly, keep a cool head when many elements come together, and easily switch between content, planning, and execution.
  • You are organizationally strong and work accurately. 
  • You think solution-oriented and take the initiative to drive a project forward.
  • You are customer-oriented, communicate clearly (internally and externally), and easily build relationships with colleagues, various organizations, and partners. 
  • You are a team player who enjoys being active on the work floor.

  • A 4/5 part-time contract (30.4 hours) of indefinite duration;
  • Salary according to PC 304 category B + relevant experience will be taken into account;

The selection process

A reading jury evaluates and selects the candidates who best fit the vacancy.

First interview: this interview lasts a maximum of 30 minutes. The purpose of this interview is to get to know each other and assess motivation, experience, and knowledge, as well as the match with the position. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions. The composition of the jury will be communicated with the invitation for the interview. 
After a positive first interview, you will be invited for a second interview that lasts a maximum of 1 hour. This interview is based on an assignment that you prepare at home and/or on-site. The composition of the jury will be communicated with the invitation for the interview. After this interview, a decision will be made about who will become our new colleague.
