Sofie Hagen is a left-wing, feminist stand-up comedian and has always tried to do the right thing. But now the fascists are taking over and that’s pretty scary. Could Sofie have done more to stop it? What about all of those feminist tweets she did? Why wasn’t that enough? 'I Think Some of This is My Fault' is a hilarious, gut-punching show about fallibility, accountability and trying to figure out what on earth to do when the world is falling apart around us. When you’re just trying to be a good guy and the bad guys seem to be winning.
“It’s rare that a stand-up show continues to play on my mind once I’ve left the venue […] However, I Think Some of This Is My Fault genuinely has stayed with me and, I suspect, will continue to do so for quite some time.” - Binge Fringe ★★★★
“Hagen has found a new way to re-examine her life story in a way which is playful, inventive and very funny” - The Scotsman ★★★★
“Excellent punchlines in the hands of a pro… This show is in praise of nuance” - Entertainment Now ★★★★
“Hagen is a hysterical storyteller and deeply interesting thinker… Leaving audience members feeling mesmerized, her wry take on the left [...] is a perspective we desperately need...” - The Skinny ★★★★★
“One of the most thought-provoking shows tackling the rise of fascism and what it means to exist now... a deft-yet-hilarious interrogation of moral purity and lateral violence within progressive circles” - The Age ★★★★★
