Experience Sigur Rós' classic fourth album “Takk” like never before – remixed with fully immersive or spatial audio based on the original multitracks. Plunge deep into the pure beauty and sonic ambition of the songs, down to the smallest details.

Sigur Rós, together with Björk, is at the root of our fascination with Icelandic music and all things Nordic. The band made its Belgian debut on 25 August 2000 at Pukkelpop, shortly after the release of their debut album Ágætis byrjun. Since then, they have played almost 1,000 concerts worldwide, appearing at the biggest venues and festivals.

A unique listening session (not a live show) that transports you to the most harmonious fjords in the universe of Sigur Rós.

The word for the sound of Takk is “wistful.” It leaves you feeling nostalgic for something, even if you can’t put your finger on it. Maybe it’s just the falsetto of Jónsi Birgisson [...]. Maybe it’s their renewed reliance on orchestral instruments, like horns and strings and bells, which leaves room for grandiosity, but these instruments are versatile enough that it never feels repetitive or formulaic.
