Vacancy | VIERNULVIER is looking for a social media manager & content creator
Are you just as strong in conceptualising, filming, and editing visual formats as you are in rolling out targeted Meta campaigns? Do you enjoy working with a team of creators to bring our broad programme closer to our audience? Then you're the person we're looking for!
Arts Centre VIERNULVIER receives 350,000 visitors annually for theater, debates, concerts, talks, performances, dance, nightlife, and literature. The VIERNULVIER Café, located in De Vooruit, serves as a central meeting spot. VIERNULVIER presents its programme both inside and outside De Vooruit.
VIERNULVIER is looking for a creative, driven social media manager & content creator to strengthen the communication team.
Position
You are the driving force behind our social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook & TikTok). You combine strategy with creativity, enjoy being behind the camera (and possibly in front of it as well), and coordinate our content production.
What are your main tasks?
- Content creation from A to Z: you independently conceive, film, and edit attractive visual content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.). As a born storyteller, you translate our artistic programme, mission, and vision into compelling videos and formats.
- Meta & Campaign Management: you know the Meta environment (Business Manager & Ads Manager) inside out. You set up effective (paid) campaigns, manage budgets, select the right target audiences, and adjust based on data.
- Leadership & Collaboration: you work closely with your colleagues from the communication team and the programmers. Additionally, you lead a team of (guest) content creators: you inspire them with ideas, guide them, and ensure quality and tone of voice.
- Strategy & Trendwatching: you translate our content into a clear social media strategy. You closely follow trends, experiment with new formats, and quickly respond to current events.
- Planning & Community: you manage the content planning through our planning tool (Later) and handle community management (following up on comments and DMs).
- Analysis & Reporting: You analyse results (via Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and platform statistics), report on them in a structured manner, and adjust the strategy based on numbers and insights.
- Team Support: You provide support as needed for general marketing and communication tasks and regularly coordinate with the coordinators.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who recognises themselves in the following profile:
- You have a relevant degree (communication, marketing) or equivalent experience, and can look back on at least 2 to 3 years of experience in social media management and content creation.
- You can independently create video content smoothly from idea to edit (knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software is a must).
- You have practical experience in setting up, managing, and analysing Meta campaigns.
- You write clearly and attractively in Dutch and English, and enjoy playing with language in the tone of voice of our organisation.
- You are not afraid to experiment and enjoy taking other creators along, inspiring and guiding them.
- You are curious about our offerings, have a good sense of our diverse audience, and have a passion for performing arts and culture. In short, a heart for culture and VIERNULVIER.
- You work goal-oriented and punctually, can handle deadlines well, and combine independence with a cooperative mindset.
We offer
- A 4/5th permanent contract.
- A varied position in a dynamic cultural work environment in Ghent with an engaged team.
- An informal, open working atmosphere with a flat structure where your initiative and ideas are truly valued.
