Five The Hierophant (UK)

Drawing inspiration from sources as diverse as ancient mysticism, avant-garde jazz, and doom metal, London’s Five the Hierophant creates a sonic brew of some rather unique nature with compositions that unfold like a series of arcane incantations.

Their 3rd full-length opus, ‘Apeiron’, sees the london-based quartet pushing its instrumental doom trances to new cinematic and introspective heights, pushing deeper the use of atypical instruments such as: horns, trumpets, gongs, bells, violins, skull shakers, ritual drums and other tools.
