Wannes, Femke & Lander Gyselinck

In this edition of 4x4, siblings Wannes (writer), Femke (dancer), and Lander (musician) Gyselinck are given carte blanche to turn De Vooruit into their playground for an entire evening. The common thread throughout this event is an LP that formed the soundtrack to their youth: John Martyn’s ‘Solid Air’ (1973). For this special night, each of them will expand the family circle with three collaborators from their respective disciplines: theatre, dance, and music. The exact details of how and with whom they will collaborate are still unfolding, but what’s for sure is that the result will be a unique, expanded collaboration exploring their polyamorous relationship with one another's art forms.
