All over the world, food is intimately connected to who we are. Our communities are shaped by what we eat, how we prepare it and with whom we share it. Food connects us to the generations that came before us.  The way we eat is both deeply rooted in tradition and constantly changing. Sometimes knowledge is lost. At other times, encounters with other food cultures bring new insights and customs.  Daughters from four continents reflect on these shifts and share stories about their food. Their words are accompanied by flavours from their mother countries.

This session is hosted by students from the Master's programme in Nutrition and Food Systems (Ghent University) and the INSPIRA research group.
