Augmented bodies: humanity in motion

Choreographer Éric Minh Cuong Castaing draws inspiration from people who have partially lost their mobility, through a stroke, a muscle condition, or another physical limitation. He creates choreography that adapts to their bodies.

In 'Forme(s) de vie', professional dancers share the stage with two remarkable performers: a dancer and a former boxer living with a disability. The dancers become living supports, human extensions that make movement possible, giving the idea of an augmented body a warm and human meaning.

Together with choreographer Aloun Marchal and dramaturg Marine Relinger, Minh explores how bodies can empower one another and rediscover freedom. Dance and video merge into a poetic, moving dialogue between strength, fragility, and reclaimed motion.

"Come if you feel ready to open, even a little bit, the armour you have built around your heart."
