Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker / Rosas

Stripped of all bar lines

In GLA55, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker dives into Philip Glass’s early work from 1969–1970. Built on short, repetitive patterns, the music shifts between strict structure and hypnotic trance. With six Rosas dancers and musicians from Ictus and Bl!ndman, she translates this pulsing flow into a spiraling choreography in which repetition never repeats and music and dance merge into one continuous, sensory experience.
