After the sets of Ellen Allien, GiGi FM, Erykah en Marie-Julie at the Kouter, the party continues with DC Salas x Sara Dziri for the third (and final) Boomtown Club Night in Club Wintercircus.
DC Salas has been an established name in the Brussels dance scene and far beyond for years. From his base at the legendary Fuse Club and Kiosk Radio, he makes the dance floor soar with a load of rousing house, techno, trance, italo and new beat. These days, he is one of the most active Belgian DJs abroad. We regularly see him pop up at renowned venues like Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Renate (Berlin) and Nitsa (Barcelona), but also at big festivals like Horst, Dour and Pukkelpop.
DC Salas has also built an impressive track record as a producer, with releases and remixes on prestigious labels such as Live at Robert Johnson (where he recently released his 20th (!) EP Voces), Correspondant and his own label Biologic Records. His productions and his DJ sets all have one common denominator: they are mercilessly efficient on the dance floor.
Sara Dziri is a Brussels-based musical chameleon with North African roots. With a nonchalant flair, she mixes SWANA poly rhythms, conjuring trance and energetic club beats together as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Her debut album Close to Home (2022) was already a hit, but it was with her self-directed music and dance performance Black Hole (2024) that she really put herself on the map.
As a DJ and co-conceiver of Brussels-based Not Your Techno, Dziri has been at the knobs of the electronic music scene for years. Decolonial, SWANA and queer? Check! It's as if she's making a statement with every beat, as much as she's smashing musical boxes. It has done her no harm: XRDS, Fuse, Paradise City, Gay Haze, Dour, C12, ... Just about all clubs and festivals are only too happy to see her.
