EUROPALIA is celebrating its 30th edition this autumn with a large-scale Spanish art biennale. Exactly forty years after its first edition focused on Spain in 1985, EUROPALIA ESPAÑA will present a multidisciplinary program that unites heritage and contemporary art forms from October 8, 2025, to February 1, 2026. EUROPALIA ESPAÑA includes around 150 events featuring more than 120 artists, spread throughout Belgium. The festival will also take place in Ghent, where the public can discover the Spanish artistic scene through a series of dance performances, performances, concerts, film screenings, exhibitions, and creations in public spaces. At VIERNULVIER, we will also present a number of events together with EUROPALIA ESPAÑA.
