He has released numerous albums as well as publishing four volumes of poetic writings. He has worked with internationally recognised artists including Angélica Liddell, Rosalía, Ernesto Artillo, María Muñoz, Rocío Molina, Cabosanroque and C. Tangana.
About Raül Refree
Raül Refree is one of the most acclaimed Spanish producers of the last decade. His stylistic breadth and versatility have led him to have a profile that ranges from experimental musician to producer of pop stars or composer of award-winning soundtracks. Interested in the renewal of traditional music, Raül Refree has become in recent years the name of reference for new flamenco in Spain, working alongside names that have grown up under his sound such as Rosalía, Rocío Márquez or… Niño de Elche. His album with Rosalía, Los Ángeles, has been a multiple gold record.
He publishes alongside experimenters like Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo, producing his last three albums and collaborating as a duo on the last one, “Names Of North End Women”, and has collaborated with the experimental scene of New York with artists such as Sharon Van Etten, Nels Cline or Kid Millions. His album with the Portuguese singer Lina, where Raül Refree has revisited Fado, was hailed by the media as one of the best albums of 2020. He has recently continued to research popular music from around the world, collaborating with singers such as Rokia Koné (Mali) or Maria Mazzotta (Italy), while preparing his debut as a theatre director in 2024. He is also a noted songwriter and musician who has released eleven albums under his own name.
No se trata de un concierto convencional, sino de una obra conceptual que fusiona textos musicalizados con atmósferas electrónicas envolventes y una puesta en escena teatral donde la corporalidad y la dramaturgia se incorporan como elementos expresivos.
