The Domzaal is the highest room in De Vooruit, just below the roof at the front of the building. The hall measures 17 by 22 meters and is spanned by steel arches that support the roof. The stage is a playing surface on the floor without an elevation, the grandstand has 200 seats. This arrangement makes the Domzaal extremely suitable for intimate performances and film concerts.
The Domzaal is not rented out.
Getting there
Als je via de inkomhal in de Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat Vooruit binnenwandelt, sla je onmiddellijk rechtsaf en wandel je de trap op tot helemaal boven - de derde verdieping. Daar neem je de eerste deur rechts. Op het einde van de gang neem je de trap tot helemaal boven. Daar vind je de Domzaal.
Accessibility
De ingang vanaf de straat is voorzien van een inkomsas met een drukknop. Er is een lift naar de 4e verdieping. De zaal is toegankelijk voor personen met een rolstoel, met begeleiding van een VIERNULVIER-medewerker.
Room rental
The Domzaal of De Vooruit is not available for room rental. The Concert Hall, Theater Hall, Ballroom and Foyer Theaterzaal are.
