DELISH DA GODDESS (US)

Door OffBeat Magazine tot “leider van New Orleans' DIY-hiphopbeweging" gekroond: Delish Da Goddess. Met 7 ep’s en een onnavolgbare livereputatie, is ze een grote creatieve inspiratiebron voor Louisiana's hiphopscene.

Het New Yorkse magazine Fader omschrijft haar als volgt: “She gets her crowds moving and then hits them with jarringly upfront bars, infusing lo-fi trap beats with the energy of the queer bounce movement that put New Orleans hip-hop back on the map post-Wayne.”
Daarvoor werd ze in 2018 beloond met de ‘Best Rap and Bounce’-award op de Big Easy Awards (‘The Big Easy’ is de bijnaam voor de Amerikaanse stad New Orleans). 

Vooral haar 7de ep ‘Violet’ - genoemd naar het stadje waarin ze opgroeide - vond ingang bij een breder publiek. Ze deelde het podium al met Peaches, Le1f, Big Freedia en Sophie, en was te zien in Diplo’s webserie ‘Blow Your Head’.
