LEYA

A combination of medieval songs, modern folk and pop: measure the New York duo LEYA.

Debut album 'The Fool' (2018) introduces many of its core elements: songs that evoke stillness, with an added bow of tension from violin, vocals and harp. Follow-up 'Flood Dream' (2020) was described by The New York Times as the "aural equivalent of waking up from a bad dream, only to discover you're still trapped in the nightmare." Pitchfork kept it short on "eerie''.

HUN HUN

Brussels-based Hun Hun is a duo of electronic music producers: Jimmy (Hun) and Noé (Hun). They use expressive voices from old Turkish B-movies to create mini-odyssees that play with patterns and the repetition of melodies and ancient rhythms. Result: experimental and timeless compositions.
