Multidisciplinary and cocreative work in and around the Neermeersen

During an intensive project week, we will travel to the Neermeersen, a high-rise neighborhood between the Watersportbaan and the Leie at the end of March. Several makers connected to CAMPUSatelier, de Koer, ConstructLab, Manoeuvre and the Stadsatelier of Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER, will work there in and with the local public space.

They will do so with a group of students from various programs in the arts, social work and architecture. The group works multidisciplinary (visual, building, writing, playing,...) and co-creative (in exchange with each other, the place and everyone they meet there). At the end of the week, they will show the festive result: a collective intervention on location in the neighborhood, to which you are cordially invited!

This project week is organized in collaboration with several colleges: KASK School of Arts Ghent, Arteveldehogeschool Social Work, KU Leuven / LUCA Architecture and the Brussels art academy Arba ESA. Involved makers include Maarten Jolie, Leontien Allemeersch, Bert Villa, Jorik De Wilde, Cédric Noël, Simon Allemeersch, Eline Harmse, Joram Kunde, Andy Sarfo, Marieke De Munck, Elly Van Eeghem, and others.

With support from: CAMPUSatelier, de Koer, VIERNULVIER and Nomadic School of Arts Ghent.
