Exactly one year ago, self-proclaimed ‘drag terrorist’ Christeene transformed Vooruit’s Balzaal into a bizarre, Lynchian nightclub, showering the room with spit and buttplugs. Or as Tumult described it afterwards: “I’ve never seen an audience spat on with such pleasure and surrender – and that was after the same mouth had just rimmed the two hairy asses of the dancers.”

We daresay another delightful evening is on the cards. The Texan performance artist – real name Paul Soileau – recently released her new record ‘Basura’ featuring the Radio 2 hits ‘Aktion Toilet’ and ‘Butt Muscle’. For us that’s more than enough reasons to let her run riot on the stage once again, this time in the Vooruit Café. Expect a serving of raw, trashy hiphop and perverse electro punk, accompanied by her two loyal backing boyz. Entirely free and decidedly 18+.
