Le Motel
Le Motel is a producer and graphic designer based in Brussels. His love for ethnic music combined with elements from footwork, hip hop, jazz and techno leads to a beautiful collage between electronic and organic elements. This love for eclecticism is also reflects in the people he collaborates with such as Roméo Elvis, YellowStraps, Clap! Clap! or recently Veence Hanao. After having released on TAR (Los Angeles), his last stop was the New Zealand-based Cosmic Compositions for the eclectic Voodoo inspired album ‘OKA’. The album became album of the week on BBC Radio 6, hand-picked by Gilles Peterson. During VIDEODROOM Le Motel will work with visual artist Antoine De Schuyter and presents an new A/V show.
Corrupted
As if being an eclectic, future-minded afro head wasn’t enough, Corrupted presents the self-designed A/V project ‘Delusion’. For this project, Corrupted cites beats, footwork and A/V hotheads such as Flying Lotus as his influences. DTM Funk
DTM Funk, is a DJ, Music curator and record collector, who has a bi-weekly radioshow (Rhythm District) showcasing all that is eclectic. Spinning records at a variety of different festivals and venues, his spicy set are laced with lots of beats, leftfield electronics, juke and some weird but danceable Afro rhythm tunes. "His beats are sickening and his reach is so far - from traditional African folk music to footwork - he also mixes like he's making his own beats at the same time.” - Vice Magazine
