Le Motel is a producer and graphic designer based in Brussels. His love for ethnic music combined with elements from footwork, hip hop, jazz and techno leads to a beautiful collage between electronic and organic elements. This love for eclecticism is also reflects in the people he collaborates with such as Roméo Elvis, YellowStraps, Clap! Clap! or recently Veence Hanao. After having released on TAR (Los Angeles), his last stop was the New Zealand-based Cosmic Compositions for the eclectic Voodoo inspired album ‘OKA’. The album became album of the week on BBC Radio 6, hand-picked by Gilles Peterson. During VIDEODROOM Le Motel will work with visual artist Antoine De Schuyter and presents an new A/V show.
As if being an eclectic, future-minded afro head wasn’t enough, Corrupted presents the self-designed A/V project ‘Delusion’. For this project, Corrupted cites beats, footwork and A/V hotheads such as Flying Lotus as his influences. Being eager to fully immerge you into his emotional, surreal world, the Red Bull Elektropedia Award nominee now delivers ‘Delusion’ as his fresh, proper business-card. “His popping beats and confident stage presence made the difference.” - Lefto
